MicroSchools bring quality education to underserved communities where traditional schools are inaccessible.

Each one-room school serves up to 100 children daily through 4 shifts, using tablets with interactive, gamified learning. Local women facilitators manage the schools, creating safe and supportive learning environments.

Launched in refugee camps in Bangladesh and expanded to Pakistan in 2021, MicroSchools are supported by corporate partners—like Soorty Foundation, Engro, Lucky Power, and many more. The Government of Sindh, has also partnered to establish 100 MicroSchools.

This flexible and scalable model empowers communities while ensuring children don’t miss out on education.

Why are we doing it?

In Pakistan, 26 million children are out of school, and this number could exceed to 40 million by 2030 due to population growth and limited access to teachers and schools.

Our MicroSchools provide immediate, scalable, and sustainable educational opportunities. With the ability to open a new school every three days, they bring learning to even the most underserved communities. By empowering local communities and creating versatile learning hubs, MicroSchools offer a model that can address the global education crisis—one child at a time.

Where we are today

At Teach The World Foundation, our MicroSchools are already transforming the lives of thousands of students in Pakistan. Our goal is to reach at least 20,000 more children and establish 125 new schools in Sindh, with plans to expand globally.

The impact is clear: students are gaining confidence, digital literacy, and a love for learning—proof that education can truly change lives.
